After nine years of full-time vanlife, the Holcombe's have been to a lot of places: all 50 States, six Canadian Provinces and Mexico. In 2019, they shipped their Winnebago Revel to Europe and spent six months rock climbing, whitewater kayaking, biking and backpacking their way across the continent across 20 countries. And now, this dynamic family has their sights set on their biggest adventures yet. Abby is 19 and setting out in her own Winnebago Adventure Wagon on a quest to kayak the best rivers in the world. And Peter and Kathy plan to drive the longest road in the world: The PanAmerican Highway - from Deadhorse, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina. You can follow the Holcombes on their journey on Instagram and YouTube.
Where We've Been

2019 European Adventure
In 2019, Famagogo shipped their Revel van to Europe, and visited nineteen countries. In six action-packed months, they explored the Pyrenees, Dolomites and the Alps, the coastal islands of Croatia, the fjords of Norway, the rivers of France, Slovenia and the United Kingdom, and so much more. This taste of international travel ignited a fire within them to explore the entire world, and thus began the Famagogo World Tour.

North America
When the Holcombes sold their home in Boulder, CO in 2014, their original plan was to show their daughter, Abby, their favorite places over the course of a year. But as they settled into living on the road full-time, their goals expanded to included visiting every state in the contiguous USA. In 2016, they added Alaska to the list, and in 2021, the completed their mission by spending two weeks on Kauai, HI. They have also visited six Canadian Provinces and Baja, Mexico.
