C&O Towpath Bike-Packing

Famagogo tries their hand at bike packing on the C&O Canal Towpath trail. This eastern US trail from Cumberland, MD to Washington, DC, is a 185 mile, 5 day self-support adventure on mountain bikes loaded with camping gear and rations. While most of this adventure feels wild, there are many towns and cities along the way, providing a look into architecture, restaurants and local culture. This is a wonderful, multi-day, adventure for any bike riding family that loves to camp.
